Our faith

We believe and trust in God, who loves us all.

We believe and trust in Jesus, who showed us what love means.

We believe and trust in the Holy Spirit, who helps us to love in return.

tt-xtra-1Every Tuesday morning pre-school children and their carers meet in the church hall to play, to do craft, to enjoy our outside play area (weather permitting!), to drink juice and coffee and to share friendship. Each session finishes with circle group singing. Shared conversations range from how to deal with sleepless nights to how to keep the parenting relationship fresh and sometimes to Christian faith. There are occasional tears but always plenty of laughter. The doors open at about 9.45am and we usually finish about 11.30am. You are very welcome to drop in at any time!

On the first Tuesday of the month, we have Tuesday Tots Xtra! Following on from our normal activities we meet for a short time in the church for a bible story and some singing. This is then followed by some food back in the hall. Everyone is welcome to stay for this extra part of our time together.

Prayer for the Week

Wesley Day

In Christ is our salvation -
his light comes shining down the years
and all the darkness has not quenched the flame:
and souls beset with foes and fears
have gloried in His name.

In Christ is our salvation -
by faith we look to Him and see
how ordinary lives can be transformed:
imprisoned spirits are set free
and hearts are strangely warmed.

O Jesus, precious Saviour,
make us, your struggling, striving Church,
a royal priesthood fit to bear your name:
may we, who hold the gospel torch
be radiant with its flame.
