Spirituality on Screen is the Oxford Methodist's film group and meets once a month to watch a film, share food and then discuss the issues raised. Although it attracts people from our Methodist churches across the Oxford area, Woodstock is well represented and the group currently meets at Woodstock Methodist Church. We watch a wide-range of films and in the last year alone we have seen the ever-popular The Imitation Game, reflected on immigration issues with Paddington, thought about the challenges of opening up one's church to those seeking shelter with the excellent documentary The Overnighters, talked about funeral rites with What We Did On Our Holiday, and watched our first Bollywood film, the delightful sci-fi comedy PK.
We generally meet on the first Sunday of the month at 5.30pm and everyone is welcome. Further information, along with some past study guides, can be found on the group's own website.
